Avocado & Ginger Breakfast Pot

Olivia’s weekend breakfast pot.


1 avocado
1 ripe banana
1 inch or more ginger, grated
1 heaped dessert spoon of hemp protein or ground flaxseed/chia seed
1/4 tsp maca
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 generous teaspoon of raw cacao/carob powder (or a mix of the two)
Generous splash of milk of your choice

optional:  add grated turmeric, 1/4 tsp vanilla powder, sprinkle with… cacao nibs, maple syrup, toasted nuts…


  • Slice up the banana into a pan and cook with the grated ginger and some milk.
  • Dissolve the cacao and/or carob powder in a little hot water
  • Blend up the avocado, protein powder (or ground seeds), maca, cacao/carob and the warm, cooked banana.
  • Serve in a warmed glass jar – for some reason it tastes better!
