As recommended by a customer whose joint stiffness cleared up within 4 days of drinking this golden milk.

For the turmeric paste
1/4 cup turmeric powder
1/2 cup water
For the milk
1 tsp turmeric paste (see recipe below)
1 cup milk of your choice
1/2 tsp almond or sesame oil
Maple syrup or honey to taste
- Make up the turmeric paste by simmering the water and turmeric powder for at least 7 minutes, stirring constantly. If the paste becomes too dry, add more water as necessary.
- Once the paste has cooled, put it into a jar and keep refrigerated. It will last for up to one month.
- When you are ready to make a tea, use a teaspoon of the paste, combine with 1 cup of milk and oil, and heat gently.
- Add honey or syrup to taste.
