Try making your own za’atar, or if life’s too short, you can always treat yourself to a ready prepared jar of fairly traded Palestinian za’atar from Zaytoun!
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoon sumac
1 tablespoon marjoram (fresh or dried, I have a small marjoram plant so I used fresh)
1 tablespoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Mix all the ingredients together well in a bowl.
