Wheat and gluten free, these unusual noodles are made with black rice, which turns deep purple on cooking. Also known as 'forbidden rice' it has a sticky texture and nutty flavour. Black rice is particularly nutritious containing five times more protein and minerals than ordinary white rice and are rich in iron, calcium, zinc, manganese, selenium and B vitamins.

Phoned the store for some much needed advice - as we were isolating - the Irish lady one the phone couldn't be more helpful and helped with all our questions, we put in a delivery order which arrived the next day with everything we asked for and a helpful card with what she recommended too. We also used their web shop which came well packaged and arrived in a couple of days, will definitely recommend and use again.
