We have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the doors of Wild Oats to customers from 4pm Tuesday 31st March, reopening a week later at 10am Wednesday 8th April. From then, the store hours will continue to be 10am to 4pm every day.

We have remained open all this time thanks to the unwavering support of our suppliers, our dedicated and passionate staff and you, the customers who have stayed with us during our 40 years. It was a very difficult decision to make, your support has been overwhelming and we stand proud that we have served the community during these difficult times. It is our hope that during this week our staff, who have worked tirelessly long and late hours during these last three weeks, are able to rest and recuperate. They have worked these hours without hesitation and have continued to offer the best service and care to each and every person who has visited us.

Although we are closed to customers we will still be running a very small team in store, who will be able to arrange items for collection from our door and a delivery service. Please bear in mind this is done in a very limited capacity. To find out more, call the store directly on 0117 973 1967.

This is only a short closure but a necessary one during this time. Please stay safe and we hope to see you soon.

Looking after your health and your planet

We are an independent Bristol business and are careful to recruit individuals who share our passion for health and the environment. We also continually re-evaluate our use of resources.

From using alternatives in packing materials, expanding our already large refillables section and offering discounts to customers who bring in their own re-usable containers for scoop & weigh, to recycling as much as possible and using local and organic suppliers; all these little things add up to reducing the total impact we have on the environment.

We stock a variety of natural groceries, remedies, toiletries and fresh foods, so pop in and find all the natural products and friendly advice you could need.

Sustainable, organic, natural

The tide has truly changed and eating healthily and as organically and/or as locally as possible is becoming mainstream. We have seen the dawning of interest in the whole cycle of food production.

We want to know that our food is being grown in an ethical manner without chemicals and that the producers are getting a fair deal.

Fresh, local, fairly traded and organic food benefits not only the environment and the producers but also the health of you, our valued customer.

Shopping at Wild Oats you can be confident that we have done all in our power to support, protect and promote the environment, our suppliers and your health.
