Tea tree essential oil is a ‘must have’ for your home. It is a powerful antiseptic, as well as being stimulating, astringent and purifying. Tea tree supports healthy immune function and is especially useful in a diffuser during times of illness (try combing with another essential oils to give a more pleasant aroma, e.g. pine, lemon or orange).

Interestingly, tea tree is used by the Australian Aborigines to cure wounds. In circa 1927, the oil came to Europe and has been a favourite remedy in first aid kits ever since. The oil was used in World War II Australian military first aid kits, and also in munitions factories for skin injuries.

Tea tree essential oil is also an active ingredient in many household cleaning recipes.

In skincare, tea tree essential oil is an effective oil to use for cleansing the skin. It is safe to use for people who may be prone to oily skin and breakouts.

Phoned the store for some much needed advice - as we were isolating - the Irish lady one the phone couldn't be more helpful and helped with all our questions, we put in a delivery order which arrived the next day with everything we asked for and a helpful card with what she recommended too.
