Brought to you in collaboration with ACOPAGRO COOPERATIVE in Peru, Acopagro involves members of 70 local communities. Thanks to new production methods and the benefits of fair trade, this Coop has converted to organic growing and has planted new cocoa trees. With its own fermentation centre, it’s a pioneer in the field of reforestation and environmental conservation. The Cooperative has been bringing together small producers for more than 15 years, enabling them to move out of cocaine production and into cocoa.
