The combination of sautéed spinach, pine nuts and chickpeas are a classic Catalan dish, taking inspiration from the Mediterranean and is also seen in Greek and Italian dishes.

The richness of the pine nuts balance the more subtle flavour of the spinach, working deliciously together. Spinach is a dark green leafy vegetable which is one of nature’s highest nutrient density foods. The buttery taste of pine nuts softens the acidity of the spinach and boosts the mild sweetness of the leaves.

A blend of coriander and parsley helps the citrus notes and overall flavours of this bite, with a subtle heat from white pepper cutting through the creaminess of the pine nuts and chickpeas.
