Welsh rarebit with smoked chipotle sauerkraut

If you're introducing sauerkraut to your diet, then using it as a condiment to your  main meal is a really easy way to get your fill. Just add a couple of forkfuls to your plate. You can enjoy sauerkraut hot or cold, but if you prefer to take the chill off it just remember to remove your portion from the fridge while you prep your meal.

Ingredients Method

2 Slices of sourdough bread

1 Tbs of Worcestershire sauce

4 Tbs of The Cultured Collective Smoked Chipotle Sauerkraut 

1 Tbs of French mustard

75g Cheddar cheese, grated

  1. Toast your sourdough.
  2. Add the cheese, Worcestershire sauce and mustard to a bowl and mash together with a fork.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture on top of your toasted sourdough and place under the grill.
  4. Toast for about five minutes or until the cheese mixture starts to melt.
  5. Top with sauerkraut. Enjoy!
